Stumbled on this one trying to find info for the new Commander 2013 sets.

Dig this.

Nicol is actually the other revealed commander, Prossh, Skyraider of Kher.



First, cast Prossh, who'll come out with six Kobolds of Kher Keep. Sacrifice three of the Kobolds to the Phyrexian Altar for the coloured mana, and then the remaining Kobolds and Prossh himself to Ashnod's Altar. Then recast Prosh, who'll come out with eight Kobolds, this time around.

Rinse, lather, repeat, repeat, repeat. :D

nice combo, but it is missing something (enduring renewal to keep the critter coming back to your hand)

For the record, I believe Academic is a she. At least that was the impression I've gotten from previous posts. That said, it's a beautiful combo for a Jund themed commander deck. Also, nice pic Academic!
