How are you all posting pictures of cards not in the database?

1. Find the picture on a different website.
2. Right click, then select "copy image location"
3. Either create a new post here, or reply to a thread.
4. Above the text box, you'll notice two grey bars. On the bottom one, you'll notice an HTML button. Click that.
5. In the text box, type <img src="http://www.pastethelinkinbetweenquotationmarks.com/magiccardpic.jpg">

In case it's not obvious from the above, the url should be whatever the image location you'd copied earlier - just paste it in that spot.

If you don't do it this way, it'll probably glitch on you, and not compile - or it'll just show you the raw code afterward.

Here, for example, is what it looks like if you don't hit the HTML button.

Here's that same pic, when you remember to hit the HTML button.

When using IE10 you also just can right click on a picture and select "copy". Then, when you replied to a post or are submitting a post you just can "paste" the picture in (e. g. by hitting "Strg v" on your keyboard).

to post a pic in chrome, find the pic you want, then r-click on the pic:

- click copy image url

-type img src=" ++ "

add < before the link to be and > at the end of it
(where the words " ++ "is typed, paste your URL in place of the ++ )

to get the desired result like

Note:

For those having trouble editing posts.. (like i had trouble with)

To be able to edit your post, you must log in with caps sensitive, i found out that i can post a new reply or a new combo with all lower caps in my login, but i had caps in my login, so it didnt let me edit, now that i type in the caps for it, it allows me to edit
