Make sure to start your turn with 4 cards minimum if combined with the Journal,

Boon Reflection and Celestial Force provide a token each turn.

Not bad synergy, except we're talkin about a 4 drop, 2 5 drops, and an 8 drop.. And 3 of those are big fat Disenchant targets.. I still like the ol tried and true Luminoth Acention, Intruder Alarm, and mana creatures. They come out fast, and in multi-player they trigger fast and lets the combo go off fairly early. Lookin in the right dierection at least, just try to find more low cost/faster play abilities so its not such a late game dependency (later in the game also means much more chances for opponents to answer to)

Stuffy Doll, Lumious Wake, Angelic Accord. Significantly cheaper, fewer cards, still gets you that Angel per turn.

Sacred Nectar, Isochron Scepter, Angelic accord. Ridiculously cheaper, still fewer cards, reliable as hell.

The same thing with the Panoptic Mirror would mean you only have to pay once for the Nectar - and it combos with better life gain spells, too.

Hell, here. Angelic Accord, Sun's Bounty. Two cards, each four mana, any you get an angel each turn for your trouble.

There are so many better ways of exploiting this.

Well, there's the other part of it, actually.

I play Angels. As a rule. It's my favorite deck, bar none.

And this card is doing nothing for me.

For most of us, really, and mostly because of that one-per-turn limitation. Sigil of the Empty Throne, for example, is fiercely exploitable (a simple bounce combo can net you several Angels in one turn). Urbis Protector and the Deadeye Navigator (and a mana loop) means infinite Angels - even without, it's several per turn. Kaalia with an infinite attack combo. Truth is, Kaalia plus indestructibility is pound-for-pound better than Angelic Accord, in that it nets you the Angel you want for free.

Most anything is better than Angelic Accord. It's not a bad card - just mediocre, especially relative to the myriad of other options available for Angel generation. It's nice that lifegain has a new means of generating creatures, I guess.
