Play the ball then pump it with the mask, at end of turn return the ball to do it again

For the six mana investment, (which would be required for this to work, period), I could just play Hostility, which I wouldn't have to bounce at all, and it has one of the sickest red abilities in the game.

Less mess, less fuss, one card, better ability. I'd definitely play Ball Lightning in a Hostility deck - but clutering up a Red rush deck with Dragon's Mask is lame. :D
