I still flatly refuse to play demons, but this might be the only interesting iteration of combo involving this card so far.

I don't think Master of Cruelties's effect happens until next turn as it comes into play attacking? It has to actually attack first, no?

No, an ability that triggers when a creature "attacks and isn't blocked" triggers when the creature becomes an unblocked attacking creature. This is during "Declare Blockers Step".
