Get godhead out turning all creatures into 1/1s now play puppets verdict win or lose you can destroy things as chosen by playing ghostway you can kill all 1/1s winning flip. You could also lose flip and ghostway if need be to clean up a little then when godhead and any other cards come back opponent will be much more limited. Its sort of a kill accordingly combo.

Once the ability has started and the coin is flipped, you cannot respond to it until its over. So you will have no way to know if you lost the godhead or killed everything else.

You can respond with instants hense the term instant. If not hour of reckoning wouldn't be a combo with ghost way and would be a terrible card.

Or for eight mana, instead of eleven, you can just play Overwhelming Forces, which also gives you a card advantage for each creature destroyed.

you can play an instant only when you have priority, however noboby has priority when something is resolving. 

so terekhan is right you can either cast the ghost when you have priority before the ability resolves and you find out what will die or  when you gain it after something dies.

ghostway and hour of reckoning work fine, because your not trying to cast ghostway in the middle of hours resolution. you cast it before it resolves.

nothing goes on the stack during something elses resolution

I'm not thinking so, anymore. They had the same reactions, at first, but they really do talk differently.
