Nothing. I wouldn't play anything for this idea.

If you can't pay for the cumulative upkeep on a creature, you have to sacrifice it. Melira prevents you from being able to pay the upkeep.

So, this just flat-out doesn't work.

When culumative upkeep triggers, you have the choice of paying the upkeep cost, relative to the age counters on the card,, or sacrificing the creature. If for any reason, you're unable to pay the cost, then you're forced to choose to sacrifice the creature.

Here, you're unable to pay the -1/-1 counter cost of the creature. When you're unable to pay the cost of the culumative upkeep, you sac the creature.

This is cut and dry, dudebro.

Reaper...I'm going to try to warn you not to go into this battle. As it is stands now in this thread since you retroactively editted your post, you look like the aggressor, even with how coldly Academic told you that your combo would not work.
You can look at my last few combos, I am more than happy to be told that my combo doesn't work. It saves someone else(or me) from trying it in a tourney and having a judge call ruin his/her/my day.

Lol I get those accidental doubles too. But sorry that was clerical error. Was supposed to be whatever. This phone posting is a huge reason for lack of punctuation and proper grammar.
