Sorry meditations better it makes threshold when it goes off no less. So not much reliance. Some people are just dense and then there's you. Again if you wanna say that dumb shit multanis decree root greevil easily better but meditation light years ahead. Life gain isn't shit if you involve poison counters mill etc. However. Not too big on meditation card. It's nice, but not as interesting. This gives more of a challenge for all ends and gives you the upper hand, especially in a commander game late in it. Life may not matter, but it won't be as easy for anyone to win. Meditation isn't much fun. Not a bad suggestion, just not the twist I was looking for in  this.

Oh, so much boring rhetoric.

First, saying "OH YEAH WELL I COULD JUST WIN THEN USING POISON" is like every other retard who's said "OH YEAH WELL I COULD JUST COUNTER IT". It's special pleading, a formal fallacy, and that right there is the first red flag that you're fucking clueless.

Second, meditation is a boring card that hinges on that Threshold, and no, it doesn't feed it's own Threshold ability, you fucking dolt, and I can't believe you even implied as such.

Unless what you were saying was 'well, after you play it, you now have threshold', except, who cares? Enchanted Evening is now in the graveyard.

(Your gut reaction here will be to say something along the lines of "OH YEAH WELL I MIGHT DRAW ANOTHER ENCHANTED EVENING/OH YEAH WELL I MIGHT BE ABLE TO FETCH IT FROM THE GRAVEYARD". Doesn't matter. You're back to special pleading.)

Whereas Chewy's option gives you an immediate reward for taking an action. Irrespective of any other conditions.

Fourth - Assuming two decks are mathematically comparable (same damage output, same creatures on defense), then you're fucking right the deck with more life wins. It's stupid to imply otherwise.

Last but not least, you really need to work on your literacy before you try an attack anyone's intelligence, muffin. As well as your understanding of logic, and your ability to debate, because with the exception of a few key combos, you consistently come off like an illiterate fucking idiot.

Seriously, though - you're being a piss-pants baby because I said innocuous about your combo. That's pretty fucking funny.

I would also like to point out that Jokulhaups + Zuran Orb was an Ice Age SET combo back in 1995. It was proven effective. This is more encompassing and sets off quicker. Great with Test of Endurance.

@Boyachi - that's exactly what I was thinking. Test of Endurance, or the Felidar Sovereign. I used to run those cards in my -edit- UW -/edit- control deck - I never lost. Period. One part undercosted creatures, one part control, one part life gain. Lockdown the board, and win with lifegain.

That said, I didn't want to commit the same fallacy reaper did by engaging in special pleading.

@idiot - does it matter if Enchanted Evening is in your graveyard, and you don't have threshold?

I'll answer for you - yes, yes it does. You pay eight mana for something Jokulhaups does for six.

This version has no downside. It's completely reliable. You goddamned baby. :D

Going to make this clear so there is no confusion for others.
Cleansing Meditation's threshold ability is a replacement effect, if you have threshold when it resolves the replacement takes affect destroying all enchantments, and bringing your stuff back.  However, if you do not have threshold at the time of resolution, all it does is destroy all enchantments.  What cleansing destroys does not effect its own threshold ability.

Technically, it'd be 'ferme la bouche', or maybe even 'ferme ta bouche', but even those are really dumb, crude and clumsy handlings of the language. Don't get me started jokujhaups either its a good card that makes everything die woopty zoo ever heard of nevinerals disk? Now jokulhaups becomes shit in comparison. Not to mention the combo orb and jokul still equals 8 mana as both my combo and chewys did yet mine is the only leaving my permanents in play. There's the upside of life gain for theirs which is not bad but if you wanna be honest here life gain would not beat mill in a deck v deck game if someone resets down a ton of cards. Mill would kill and that is that. The point is yes last minute if forced I could toast all but more often than not its hard to not get threshold if you go for it in this way. I could put a load of cards in grave numerous ways. Opponents too. I regard less not gonna sit and debate it with you since I wasn't to begin with.

reaper, now I got it. "Blvde" was just misspelled, it is written "Blöde". I didn't succeed finding it in urban dictionary and therelike... Don't you have ä, ö, ü on your mobile? If your keyboard doesn't have such letters than use the ae instead of ä, oe for ö and ue for ü. that is also common practice in Germany for some use cases.

reaper, you need to stop using the words that Google translates for you. It's not set up -edit- for -/edit- proper cogent language - it can only handle literal translations. All regular visitors of this site are aware off these dejavu-like academic behaviour, we don't need another debate on this.
