Mountain is Homeward Path. Island is the Illusionist\'s Bracers; they are equipped to the Aphetto Alchemist.
Have all in play except the Confussion in the Ranks. Tap/Untap the Alchemist to generate plenty of green mana floating with the Dryad Arbor. Put the Arbor into play, this triggers the CitR since the Arbor is of type creature. Chose a permanent of type land for exchange.
tap Homeward Path to get the Arbor back. Bounce the ARbor by the Breezecaller to get it in your hand and untap the Homeward path. Use the Walking Atlas to repeat this. Aphetto Alchemist untaps your creatures as needed.

Well, that's certainly not a giant-pile-of-card-mess-that-would-burden-it's-deck-so-badly-that-it's-destined-to-fail-out-of-the-gate at all.

In comparison to another combo recently posted here (by someone with language skills beyond ITs magic skills), this combo requires 7 cards with 5 max cmc. This other "combo" lists an Unhinged card as placebo for infinite mana source to provide infinite flicker events and has 6 as cmc max.
This combo is of a kind IT was not able to even think about. Better IT sticks to post movies!-))

Christ, you do nothing but front, all the goddamned time.

No, Knarf, this is a terrible combo because it's unplayable. Any deck it's attached to would basically need to be focused entirely on making this combo happen, because otherwise, it's an ugly jamble of seven different cards that really don't do a damn thing to stop your opponent. And this is the majority of your deck. And the rest will pretty much need to be cards to speed up your access to these seven cards - because until you can do that, you're wide open to whatever your opponent wants to do to you. And if any link in this chain is severed before it can go off, the whole deck would effectively fail.

This is why I hate your combos, Knarf - they don't actually belong in a deck. The vast, vast majority of them are just nerd fantasies where you imagine the impossible situations where you have exactly the card combination to win the day. That's bullshit daydreaming. It's lying to yourself.

It speaks to the person you are, Knarf.

I like the combo because of the reasons you hate it Academic; while he is setting it up, no one will suspect what he is doing. It is clunky and heavy on card count, but again it is a surprise when it finally goes off. Also Knarf, love the updated picture.

Yeah, I remember the time someone said that about another combo here. That's a really stupid point to bring up here, though, given the combo. The last time it was said, all the cards in that combo could actually inconvenience your opponent. Those cards were janky, but in a deck, those cards could contribute to you surviving a)until your combo goes off, and b)even if your combo never goes off. Which is important, because if the combo never goes off (because you keep losing before it can), then it's not really a functional combo, at all.

If I'm not mistaken, that combo also had four cards in it.

The reason you look stupid talking about this combo is because these are not functional cards which could tie up your opponent until the combo could actually go off. There is no sneaky combo - just a pile of seven cards which you have to hope all get out onto the field without your opponent fucking with your plans once, during regular gameplay. None of them really impact your opponent unless all of them are ready, and any deck designed around this combo would have to be focused entirely on the combo going off fast - which means you sit still while your opponent has his way with you - and if the opponent does mess with any critical piece of his combo - any piece - then it's over.

I know I've said mean things to you in the past, little dude, but that doesn't make you look less stupid here. :D

Yes, Nickosis, I appreciate your visible brave support. I was a little surprised that IT didn't replied with clear offending you; the absence of  F... words might indicate that I finally made it to change ITs mind and make IT drop parts of ITs nasty behaviour!-) I was not surprised that IT badmouthed my combo, if the combo had been posted by an IT girl, than IT would have commented like "Interesting", "Good find".

Back to the combo.  If you take a look at my combo you will notice the low average cmc of the cards. Even the bracers have lots of synergies with the other creatures listed and all of them fit in a ru counter-control deck with Prodigical Sorcerers, Norin the Wary, Timid Drake, Razorfin Hunter, Quicksilver Wall..., there is plenty of time to set up the combo, and if you only have the CitR out, there are plenty of crap creatures you could play and steal opps valuable ones.

I'm not saying the combo is perfect, in fact yes it is a little hard to pull off but; it is a confusing combo for an opponent. You're not going to see something like this coming, thenn PUNCH TO THE FACE, I have your lands. Average playablitiy but good.

Trust me; it takes more than someone faceless online to hurt my feelings. I take all manner of online banter as comical.

Also, does this work? Because homeward path hits everyone. So wouldn't everyone get their stuff back?

Just to focus back on the primary target of this combo. darthnefas was looking for a way to steal lands without turning them into something else (like creatures or enchantments or whatever).

I posted this combo which uses the Confusion in the Ranks and Dryad Arbor. Dryad Arbor is of dual card type: creature and land. When Dryad Arbor enters the battlefield, it triggers the Confusion itR due to its creature type. Confusion in the Ranks allows to exchange control of a permanent of the same type the permanent just entered the battlefield is. If Dryad Arbor entered, I do exchange control of lands.
Then, I activate Homeward Path. This has the following result: I get back the control of my Dryad Arbor Creature and my opponent gets back nothing since I stole a land from him.

It's clear now?
