You will have to have 4 other goblins in play to use the marshals ability. When you get it in play attach pariah's shield asap now use his ability to deal all creatures and players 10 damage. Now since your 10 damage redirects to fire marshal which has protection from red u should be able to kill all creatures beside fire marshal and deal 10 to opponents without losing 10 yourself. Added painter's servant just to show what this could really do if you just say red.

If you set the servant to red, then you cannot equip the shield to the marshall since the shield is now red, too.

Take a look in the rules.
702.15d A permanent with protection can’t be equipped by Equipment that have the stated quality or fortified by Fortifications that have the stated quality. Such Equipment or Fortifications become unattached from that permanent as a state-based action, but remain on the battlefield (See rule 704, “State-Based Actions.”)

Do you even need to use Painter's Servant? The damage that's being redirected is still coming from the Goblin and we already know he had protection from his own ability....

I assume painter servant was added to provide protection from opponents creatures and spells, however, it is not needed.
In fact as Knarf correctly pointed out, the servant ruins the combo.  A Pro red creature can not be enchanted or equipped by anything red at anytime, it does not matter if it was in play first or not, once the shield becomes red it becomes unattached.
you want to make it work, use shifting sky to change your opponents creatures to red without effecting the other permanents, won't cover spells though.   Also repercussion seems like an auto-include

Tks gericault5 for support on this rules discussion. I think reaper missed the part Such Equipment or Fortifications become unattached from that permanent as a state-based action, but remain on the battlefield. This means that also equipment already attached to creatures will be un-attached from them.
My fault that I assumed more knowledge of the rules on reaper's side than actually present.
Academic has been either just savoring reaper's answer or he didn't know the ruling, too!-))
