Tap portal to place artifact land (also a handy mana ramp)
Use the throne to sac artifact land, proliferate

Very, very cool. That said, by adding only one card, you can get this infinite.

Don't think it would go infinite, academic. Due to the fact that throne of geth must be tapped, unless clock of omens was out or something, it couldn't go infinite. With clock of omens, however, it would. At least in theory.

I made a mono-blue deck with Seat of the Synod+Prototype Portal+Tolarian Academy+Filigree Sages. It makes for A LOT of artifacts in play.
