Island is Enter the Infinite.

Draw all but one, the discard to flashback the Conflagrate. Burn for 40+ damage. Works well if you have grave shuffling to go again.

Not to mention it says infinite and only deals like 40 damage.

:/

Yeah, I think I'd rather just attach an infinite mana loop to an X-spell.

Yes, adding a infinite mana loop fits in the normal thinking of IT's magic combo inventions like in http://www.mtgcombos.com/view.php?fid=2&tid=66450

Adding an infinite mana loop to everything makes IT happy!-))

That sure was me using a mana loop as a mechanism for another combo.

Yep. Sure was.

....

Okay?

You don't understand the dumb thing you just did there, do you? :D

I don't understand that someone (IT) posted a not working "combo" based on not confirmed information just to get the "first" DGM combo post. This should take some seconds until the cards are published/confirmed and serious discussion of combos might take place. The approach of posting rumour combos is something for the general chat...

That's a very nice straw man, but you just said no, right?

What if your deck has infinite cards?

Okay, maybe a Battle of Wits size deck.

Well, you'd be able to defeat most decks, except for if you step into a multiplayer where everyone is playing elves.

Wouldn't it make more sense just to play a long-box sized deck with a lot of fetch, if you were going to play Battle of Wits?

I mean, for standard-legal, it would have to be only as big as you can shuffle unencumbered - but I really doubt anyone's going to actually try for a standard win with Battle of Wits. :D

If I had the free time, I'd attempt it just because you brought it up. I know I wouldn't win but I think all of us would enjoy the pictures of people's reactions when I show up with a deck that cumbersome.

:D

Do it up, dude. Cantrips plus fetch cards could make it 'work'. Kind of. :D

For special bonus points, don't explain it's a Battle of Wits deck until you actually play Battle of Wits.
