Anyways, this is a win strategy for the Blue-White deck in DOTP2013, as well as a nifty combo in it's own right. Just drop the creature, then indestructibility, then Pariah. Easy, right?

This is especially strong in DOTP. With exception of two specific decks (Chandra, and whatever the one with Damnation is), there are few boardwipe options. If you lock this down, expect the other player to ragequit. :D

-edit- The stalker can be the Aven Fleetwing, or the Geist of Saint Traft, or out of game, any creature with Hexproof. -/edit-

The title doesn't reflect the combo. For such stuff please keep on posting at http://www.mtgcombos.com/view.php?fid=1&tid=65075&t=academic-vs-chewy

This combo of these three cards has been posted on this site for the first time. Nevertheless the idea of an indestructible creature enchanted with Pariah is not new, maybe Chewy's post some days (http://www.mtgcombos.com/view.php?fid=2&tid=64644) ago inspired you.

DOTP2013 may be a reason to cherish this combo post, but the audience shall decide on its own.

Eat a fucking dick, I will do what I want.

And considering I'm talking specifically about DOTP, I guess your other points are superfluous and borderline stupid.

-edit- Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't you flood the combos section with a giant pile of mediocre combos again? That way your feelings don't have to be hurt when you see it on the front page. :) -/edit-

I engage in conflict, because conflict leads to resolution. Whereas sticking your fingers in your ears and going "LALALALALALALA I'M IGNORING YOU LALALALALALA" alienates and divides people, while resolving nothing.

Case in point - Chewy. If we had done it your way, you'd have been a condescending cock while maintaining a civil pretense - a pretense so fucking transparent that it reeks of bullshit. Instead, I engaged him directly. I stayed on his ass - and he changed. He changed how he typed, he stopped lazily grabbing combos from other sites, and unlike your consistently mediocre contributions, he started producing some fantastic and innovative combos, most fueled on the latest set. He did this because he felt need to keep up. Because he was pressed to do so.

Chewy has gone from 'mediocre noob' to a functional member of this forum in less than a week. Thanks to himself, and thanks to me.

I knew to engage him because of my training and education, idiot. Because of an understanding fueled by observation and research. Your assumptions are unfounded, and make this place worse. I don't fucking care if you're afraid of conflict. Grow up, and get used to it.

For anyone who's new in this thread, Knarf is being an exclusive asshole in hopes of ignoring the fact that I just told him that his exclusive behaviours have harmed this forum. Let's see how long he can keep it up.

Jester - what I'm saying is if this isn't just a derailing attempt, and you're actually interested in Xenophilia fantasy play, I know a few latex shops that specialize in costumes and prosthetics that are designed specifically with costume fantasy sex play in mind. A few of my friends from my Feminism and Sexuality class really seemed to dig the scene.

I mean, it's not my bag, but I'm not going to judge you for it. :D

Would you like a few links? You might discover something about yourself through experimentation.

-edit- Actually... the class really reaffirmed the power that costume play can have in a relationship. Often, if you tell your partner that you want her to 'play' a more dominant role, like a completely different character (and *you* are willing to cover the costs :D), you'll find your partner very receptive - because you're not asking her to let you do something odd and new to her - you're just trying to find out something new about yourself, and you want her to do something odd and new to you.

Give her control, and she'd probably be game. ^_^ -/edit-

"I knew you'd be familiar with sexuality!"

And? :D

C'mon, skippy, defend that statement.

I mean, we both know you won't (and you'll probably count posts again - sorry, did you think that was a thing, for some reason?), but I still fucking dare you.

Because you can't do it in any way, shape or form that doesn't out you as a complete and utterly conservative creep.

Jester - Knarf's opinions are garbage. The first thing that we learned in Feminism and Sexuality is that greater control over your sex, and experimentation in safe, legal ways are a means of empowering people. Especially women. Not only don't you deserve that asshole's condescension, you deserve encouragement. Let me know if you want those links. :)

THIS IS MAGIC CARD FORUM STOP TALKING ABOUT NOT MAGIC

STOP IT

WHY AREN'T YOU DOING WHAT I SAY

The answer is because you're a skeezy idiot who wants to treat people like shit, but don't have the courage to just out-and-out do it.

Because you don't have the fucking skills needed to defend yourself when outted as an idiot creep with poor social knowledge.

Except that's kind of leaking out, now. For example, you've just attacked Jester after he spoke to me, and ignored your shameless attempt to kiss his ass. If we keep this up, I'm pretty certain my point will be fairly solid in people's minds by the end of it. I may be a bitch, but I'm honest. That's a big, important character trait I can I hold over you.

"THIS IS MAGIC CARD FORUM STOP TALKING ABOUT NOT MAGIC

First words of wisdom it has spoken...
#19 contains "inclinations ", this word including the context is neutrum not indication an opinion about DJ at all.
"It's knowledge " clerarly refers to it (Academic). So I think that there is no one out there who is surprised about it's knowledge about such a topic taking into account it's previous ramblings about feminism and related topics.

Shut the fuck up, idiot. Stop explaining things - you are transparent as hell, and your bullshit has all the depth of a thimble.

Your dumb, tedious opinion is easy to parse out - 'If you'll stop being mean, we'll stop ostracizing you'. Thing is, I don't give a fuck whether or not you talk to me, Knarf. At this point, you've proven yourself as a dishonest, judgemental and petty creep. The fact that you lashed out at Jester for speaking to me and not you, directly when you tried (and failed) to kiss his ass speaks volumes to this.

Thing is, you don't really have any fucking allies in this.

Whereas I have the entire scientific community.

Jester - if you want the links, let me know. And Knarf is a complete and utter cunt for opening his mouth when he did, as he did.

Citing papers with repeated, reliable proofs, cited in no fewer than 100 papers each (and some of those have been cited by thousands). I thought you suggested that 'everyone' has already read these papers. Are you sure you didn't just do a word search?

Because when you make a statement like "Those papers you posted with many proofs and citations (which are frequently cited) have no proofs or citations", it kind of makes you sound like a dishonest asshole.

I get that your thing is to be deliberately dishonest, and I know that being deliberately dishonest can convince people of things, but yes, the way I do it frequently convinces people who haven't walked into the argument with their minds made up.

I'm a minority non-native -edit- English -/edit- speaker, you dishonest idiot.

So - go fuck yourself. I'd point out that you just engaged in a straw man argument, but you kind of wore that out the first time you used the term incorrectly.

Again - do you want to try and make that a function English sentence, idiot? Or are you just going to pimp away again? :)

Yeah, the thing is, I didn't do that, whereas you (an open ESL speaker, and as such, a member of a minority) are doing that right now, under the pretense (pretense means it's not true, Knarf) that ignoring problems and being intellectually dishonest when directly confronted is a better solution than honestly resolving issues.

Pimp away, son, pimp away. :D

Unless what you're saying is that you're only an ESL speaker here on this forum (implying that you're lying about being ESL), then yes, worldwide, when you speak English, it's still as an ESL speaker.

You're really not that bright, dude.

Anyways, no, that's what you're doing, Knarf. I'm engaging you directly, while respecting every requirement of intellectually honest discourse. I know that pretending that it's the other way around helps you pimp away, but it's still a form of lying.

You're lying. Again. While you're pimping away.

Still not knowing what pimping away means...
It is using straw man's rhetorical technique again!-))
clarification: on mtgcombos.com ESL speaker are a minority; worldwide ESL speaker are not a minority, hopefully this sentence provides less vulnerability for intentional misinterpretation!-)) Does it understand?

Um... no, ESL speakers are still a minority, in that most of the world that doesn't speak English. If they're not primary English speakers, and they learn English, then they're still ESL. And ESL people are always a minority in countries that don't speak English at all, as the majority don't speak English at all.

Christ, you're dumb. (Actually, it's pretty transparent that you're just being intellectually dishonest again [you should reread that wiki article you found about straw men - you're using it a lot, but your actions indicate that you don't understand it at all], but by this point, I'm fairly certain you're not capable of honest discourse. So, whatever. :) )

The fact that you can't Google the term 'pimp away' is fine. Anyone else can, I don't mind you looking ignorant for having less knowledge than your peers.

I promise you, it certainly does apply. :)

Keep on pimping away, son.

ok, doesnt matter who started the issue, there is an obvious dislike between the 2 of you... would it be possible for you to give each other your e-mail addresses and go at it that way? would be a little more civil

what im getting at is... most people dont want to see the drama, and i am sure this site is suffering from it already as a result (does not matter who started it, it does matter that we all get along here, or it will drive the majority of people away from the site, and possibly result in someone shutting the site down)

for the sake of all that use this site, please stop the aggressive bickering and possibly go back to the topic that this site was made for...

anyways... hope this gets some result

I can tell you don't have any idea what's going on. Because this whole thing circulates on what's hurting this forum.

Read the first post in the 'Knarf is being a dishonest asshole' thread, and you can even feel free to go down a few comments, to where I post links to several respected scientific papers indicating that no, conflict in fact benefits society on whole.

The fact is, by stifling conflict, and ostracizing anyone with enough nerve to argue something, we've lost a giant chunk of our user base. Whereas in less than a week, direct confrontation has actually produced a fantastic new user - because they were engaged, and forced to hold themselves to a higher standard. I'm talking about Chewy - his combos lately have been amazing.

Knarf has been acting like an ignorant shit, and just been a creep in general. This isn't a case where we're both wrong, and I'm not going to behave like it is. I'm not about to trust a dishonest jerk creep with my e-mail address.

Dear Draco. If you participated in the past and had a look at several threads than you might discover that there is only one aggressive entity always involved in these kind of discussion. The risk that someone shutting the site down is obviously acceptable for it since it continues to offend people even in the title of chats and combos.
I'm not going to surrender to someone who is abusing this MTG site as platform for his minor thoughts posting sexual, theological, feminism, insulting and other weird topics.
If the price is having my nick name tvisibly on the front page in an offensively way, I pay he price.
If the price will be that someone shuts this site down, I'm not glad about that but this price I will pay, too.
By the way there is a contact link at "Help", all of you who cannot stand IT anymore are welcome to contact the webadmin and ask for it's penalty.

Knarf - And? :D I'm fine being corrected when I'm wrong. That's pretty much the biggest difference between us. Being wrong doesn't threaten who I am one iota.

You know what makes my day?

When all of this started, you swore up and down that you were fighting for the general civility of this forum, and that you'd felt that people flooding this comments with insults and mean words were ruining this place.

Look at the forum, Knarf. Look what I did to you in two days. Look at the spazzing out. Look at the bickering. Look at the flooding of the forum. Look at the insults.

And look at you. You've dropped your pretense. You're losing your shit. You're flooding every thread. You're bickering. You're dehumanizing people. You're kissing up to anyone you think might stay on you side, but you lose your shit on them the second they turn on you. You're engaged in overt intellectual dishonesty. And you've just admitted that you want to burn this forum down. You're everything you've purported to hate in others.

You're playing by my rules, idiot. I've gotten you to compromise your false persona, and expose the petty little hurt jerk deep inside. And everyone can see it, now. Including the regulars.

Now, I'm guessing during your little spazfest of hurt feelings, you've sent an e-mail to the webmaster. If he came in here, who do you think's going to catch the ban - the girl who's fostering discussion, encouraging new users, and treating people honestly and fairly, and is trying to breath new life into a dying forum...

Or the guy who's being childish, spazzing out and lashing out at anyone who doesn't have his back, who stifles conversation, condescends to everyone, and just out-and-out admitted he wants to kill this forum? :D

Well, we're not going to let you kill this place, Knarf. Deal with it.

If you'll excuse me, I seem to have found the real soul of this community. I'll take great care of it. Don't worry. :D

Knarf, you judged Jester over something as trivial as his sexual interests. This isn't a game - you acted in a bigotted fashion, and now you're trying to kiss up without so much as apologizing to him for having been a bigot.

Not honestly, you can't.

Which is the point you just missed.

You put no value in honesty what-so-ever, Knarf.

No, you've never really put any value in honesty, dude.

You're still pretty intent on using dishonesty to try and get your way, aren't you?

"If I'm dishonest in this way, I can catch her off-guard!"

You've missed the point entirely. :D

*With a maniacal laugh the jester leaped from the horse's back, landing into a nearby coffee shop. After killing the cashier for putting too much ice in his iced coffee he calmly slits a no talent writer's throat and snags his laptop. Typing quickly he logs into mtgcombos.com. And with a few keystrokes he types*

HAH! I GOT THE LAST WORD ON THE SEXUAL THREAD!

*The jester then walks away from the coffee shop and chuckles as police sirens are heard from downtown.*

"And they all lived happily ever after...the end...except for the no talent writer...he went to hell...because shameless novel knock-offs are a sin...it's like the last circle of hell for these guys...the traitors to literature in general...may they burn eternally..."

Dude can't even post a cojent though.

Seriously, I think his thought process is "so long as I don't own up to being a lame spaz, no one will think I am a lame spaz". :D

What does the number of words I type have to do with anything, dude?

I've already lit this fire. Now I'm just watching this fucker burn. :D

-edit- and you still haven't explained why you felt need to tell the forum that you wanted to masturbate into a cup of coffee. -/edit-

Wow. That's a whole lot of Freudian projection, right there.

Is that what this is about? You're worried that your best days are over, and that no one's ever going to respect you the same way, ever again?

Because I think that's the sort of thing you're going to have to deal with, dude. Especially in light of this little spazfest you've got going on.

biological clock is ticking, for IT more than me.
So "pimp away", "pimp away", "pimp away", "pimp away", "pimp away",

"IF I KEEP SPAZZING UNTIL FOREVER, EVENTUALLY SHE WILL BE OVERWHELMED BY HOW MUCH OF A FATHEAD I AM AND I WILL WIN THESE ARGUMENTS!"

Only problem is, retard, that's not how arguments work. You don't win through intellectually lazy bullshit, or swarming a person's cogent arguements with tit-for-tat rhetoric.

You win 'em by presenting a position (which you did - you'd said that people shouldn't flip out, and everyone should use this forum how I say they should, whereas I'd said that so long as a person is being intellectually honest, this forum would be made better through conflict-oriented discussion).

And I mean, I get that you're trying to prove that conflict isn't better, but dude, you're not behaving how grown-ups do during debates, so you're kind of a piss-poor antithesis for my idea.

If anything, you're pretty much backing up my subassertion that the problem isn't confrontation, it's dishonest spazzes. :D
