Pack your deck with a block of each card, then at the beginning of the game, mulligan until you can play Mindshrieker.

With a hand full of Chancellors, you can start with free creatures, free opening mana, free force spikes, an opening vampire effect, or a mill effects. Properly set up in this way, you just play Mindshrieker, and mill you own deck for +7/+7 for 2 colorless mana each turn.

INB4 you finally get a hand with 2x Tangles, a mindshrieker,   OR a land, Mindshrieker and a Tangle, and you play mindshrieker, and the card you mill with shrieker is a land or another dam mindshrieker lmao.

1. This isn't a combo. Combos work with reliability. This is synergy - that means that the cards work well together, but do nothing greater than the individual cards are supposed to do.

2. Who fucking cares if I end up with two Tangles, and a mindshrieker? Assuming I have a seven card hand, and single blue land I need to cast Mindshrieker first turn (because, remember, I can mulligan to make sure I have the perfect starting hand, so I clearly chose to start with two Tangles), I'm going to have three other Chancellors to give me turn zero advantages. So that criticism is kind of fucking dumb.

3. As for your other condescending semblance of an opinion, I typically run this deck with blocks of Eldrazi, and a block of Index - which allow me to stack the deck in favor of pulling a high CMC card. I'll confess that I assumed that you could just sort of understand that this synergy needs more high mana cost cards, or means of controlling the order of cards in the deck.

It looks like that was clearly a mistake on my part, since you're trying to offer up the obvious as if it were valuable insight (all the while looking like a mouthbreather for having had offered it).

To everyone else - this deck has given me a 100% success rate over 35 games. It does exactly two things, but it does each of those very well - it gives you a cheap flying beatstick, and stacks the opening turns heavily in your favor. Considering you can't play the majority of the deck, it's baffling how effective these cards work together.

You're probably the only person i haven't gotten along with in some way for years now, and personally i'd rather get to know you and the other players on this site a bit better.
