Island= Omniscience, Plains= Keening Apparition. Ult tamiyo and have omniscience in play, play enchanted evening to turn everything into an enchantment, cast the apparition, sac it, and repeat until you've destroyed everything except omniscience. Then play caller of the claw for bears equal to the number of things you destroyed, then play concordant crossroads for a surprise kill :)

Because see if you play Omniscience, kids, you don't have to pay for spells!

I think I hate Wizards (and this card) just because it's bringing about the same sort of laziness in combos that Black Lotus does.

-edit- In fact, there's only really one combo here - Tamayo/Omniscience - and that's months old,  submitted time and time again by other people.  So, this is the official moratorium on Tamayo/Omniscience. 

This is as bad as when I discovered Sneak Attack. Knock it off, find a new way to exploit either card. -/edit-

-also edit- And the Caller of the Claw only gives tokens for non-token creatures you've killed. And it's pretty much useless, because if you have Tamayo/Omniscience out, and you can still lose, you need to give up magic. -/edit-

The reason the combo works is because the spirit constantly dies. ever seen the hermit druid combos? the creature is the biggest combo piece in it. This was just to take a different approach to it for fun. i dont play to win. i play to have a good time. so unless there's something wrong with that then id prefer not to be bashed over it if you don't mind. And there are a ton of different ways to play either card. i just haven't posted them yet

Yes, I've seen all sorts of Druid combos (I've been playing since fucking Ice Age). All you've done here is attach one of those combos to a combo that everyone else has known about ever since Omniscience was printed (hell, I've submitted a pile of them on my own. Months ago.)

We all know that Tamayo/Omniscience lets you fuel any combo. Just like everyone knows that Black Lotus combos let you fuel nearly every combo. We have seen this pony do it's trick before - all you have done is dressed up the same pony differently. Thing is, it's still just doing the same old trick.

Deal with it. You're right, there are a lot of ways of exploiting either card. And we've already submitted a lot of them. If you can come up with something we haven't already done a million times, feel free to share.

Original content. It's all that really matters, here.

hey academic.... Calm down. no one cares about how long u played or what uve seen except yourself. I ENCOURAGE people to post combos, even if they have the same feuler because what comes after the fueler might be different or interesting, and lead to other combos.

Don't bash like a little kid or get mad, because if we just posted the fueler and no other combos after... what happens when the fueler gets banned? BL for instance. Then ur at square one.

Atleast by showing combos that progress past fuelers, if a fueler gets banned, then maybe it will be replaced by a future fueler combo, which may even provide more affinity and synergy to a chain that was once posted.

If you don't understand what I just said you probably never will.

TL:DR - don't rage, let ideas flow, they make way for future combos and ideas. If ur mad dont read or post cause nobody cares.

Oh good, another vapid opinion! And this time, it's from someone who's semi-illiterate. Yes, idiot, I can parse out your idiot request that people be able to clutter up the front page with the millionth variation of the same combo. Fuck your 'fuelers'. In fact, since 'fueler' isn't slang in common parlance, it lacks a formal definition - so I will give it one. 'Fueler' is now a derisive term for someone who steals two different combo ideas, puts them together, and claims that they're original content. Or those who support these biters. :)

I understand you think people need to be mad to say something you don't like. Fortunately, it doesn't matter. You're a semi-literate white knight nerd who's submitted no original content. In fact, I can suddenly see your point in stark black and white - the only combo you've submitted is indistinguishable to the dozens of iterations of 'taunting elf/venom'. If people don't like 'fuelers' biting off of other people's work, then you might actually have to come up with original content, too.

You need to have low standards to survive.

TL;DR version - go fuck yourself, noob, and cultivate higher standards. :)

@academic- It's great that you've been playing since ice age. But I've only played three months. Haven't had the time to figure out obscure combos because now that I just graduated I stay in a second shift job working almost every day. And it's not like this is the only combo I've posted. But have I bashed your ideas? This was a take on it that I knew nobody would post, so I posted it to make a legacy legal combo. I could've posted Laboratory Maniac and Primal Surge last night, but that's when I found out it was a combo. And i'm sure other people knew about it because it's still in standard. Look though, instead of taking the time to bash this one post, why don't you make a new combo? I've been on the site seven days now and at least attempted it. There were some that didn't work, but that's how I found out if they did or not. If you want a way to abuse omniscience, future sight would do it, btw. Just sayin. But overall, if you've got something else negative to say, don't post it because it's a card game. It was made to have fun.

Like any other forum based website you will encounter people with different points of view. For us the questions that raise the voices of objection the most are, what's considered to be a combo? what is orignal content? and whether or not its ok to necro?

Now with that being said, here's my opinions
What is a combo? Its an interaction between two or more cards. Plain and simple. Synergy is required for a combo, and vice versa
What is original content? I use the largest possible framework, basically, if you post and dont get a somebody else posted this message, its original to this site. Even if it is the same driver the exploration of ideas and different cards/interactions is all part of the learning process, not just for the poster but for the viewer as well, especially the noobs.
Necroing? Im fine with it. Wizards looks at what it did in the past to develop new ideas why shouldn't we do the same.

Now you have my opinion, you have acadamic's, you have shmojis, you have others. And now you need to form your own opinion about these questions and thats what you stick to. No matter what answers you choose somebody is not going to like it and will say so. And if their comments make sense take them, and if they dont, blow them off, and do what your opinion tells you to do.

Don't mess up with a Phillipean girl 4 feet high, or was it 14 feet?

I would appreciate if users of this site first use the search functionality before posting a "combo" already in the database.

I also would appreciate it if users of this site use idiomatic expressions which are common to english - german dictionaries. Otherwise I go with academic definition of "fueler".

BTW I started playing with fallen empires and I still love it.

Ripping off or taking peoples ideas and changing/updating them is how society has been moving forward.
If we didnt use others ideas for growth and inspiration we would still be drawing on cave walls

Heck, when I posted it, it wasn't meant to rip off an idea. It was just meant to explore another outlook on the way a few cards could be played. I hadn't seen anyone try it, so I thought i'd give it a go. only reason I really put this combo up was because of hermit druid being banned and I wanted to try to make a similar effect with a different approach entirely with one card I knew hadn't been in a combo before. Was looking at a spirit starter deck I had made my little cousin and came up with the combo then. Wouldn't have posted it otherwise.

Why are you on this site if you don't want to go see something that you didn't post and you want to always say something about it when it's not to your standards? And why didn't you post a combo for it if you're so concerned of someone else supposedly "stealing your combo"? I came up with a way to make a combo from it. You've got that option too. So let's see it. I don't steal ideas. Because typically if one person's had the idea, many other people have as well. Just turns out that i'm one of those people. I always have an idea for something, whether it be combos, plays, or anything else. I'm constantly trying to think of something new. And because of that, people like you get pissed off. The things i'm generally good at are strategies and math, and the strategy part allowed me to place any time I've gone to a magic event since the first time I've played. You take this game way too seriously. As I've already posted, it's just a game.

I'll admit that. There are players much better than me. I'm 18, and a lot of players know more cards and have played longer. All I ask is that you stop riding me over the small stuff, because that's all it really is. And if you want something original, I can post that, but i'll stop posting combos for now until I see a new one from you. I have two card combos planned out for the new set that are original, but I wont post them until I see you post one from this set. Fair enough?
