Gisela, blade of goldnight is Aurelia, the Warleader.

Have any 2 of the artifact creatures listed for blue mana.
Have Aurelia and deadeye bonded. Attack with Aurelia after combat or in case she would die, exile her with DE and repeat.

For those that don\'t know yet:

Aurelia, the Warleader is a legendary creature - angel
Flying, vigilance, haste

Whenever Aurelia, the Warleader attacks for the first time each turn, untap all creatures you control. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase.

You've basically just uncovered "1U: Creatures you control this turn untap. There's an additional combat phase this turn." -edit- In Standard. -/edit- That's cool in and of itself. :D
I'm wondering if there isn't a quicker way to make this go off, but... I like this. A lot. Very cool job.

I've been working on a RW standard deck for once Gatecrash comes out, and Aurelia's effect will be used frequently for my deck. Good ways to use her are with flicker effects like Restoration Angel and CLoudshift. Other "flickerable" cards in those colors to pair with them are Zealous Conscripts and Thundermaw Hellkite.

But yeah, Aurelia is a good card to abuse.

You called it infinite attacks, but Aurelia only makes another combat phase the FIRST time she attacks in a turn.  Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you wanted to do.

It's a little tricky, and what happens when a creature leaves the battlefield and then comes back is a little difficult to understand for some people. Here's essentially what happens - When a creature enters the battlefield, it's treated as a new creature, and is not affected by effects that existed on it the other times it was in play. Recall the dross scorpian/cauldron of souls combo you just posted. You have to use Cauldron repeatedly because the creature that comes back doesn't "remember" that it was given persist (as in, it's treated as a new creature).

The same goes for Aurelia. She attacks the first time for a turn, and gets an additional combat phase. You flicker her. When she comes back, she's treated like a new creature, so when she attacks during the second combat phase, it's seen as the first time that this "new" Aurelia is attacking - and garners another trigger. If this is still confusing, let me know, and I'll dig up the official rules on it, I'm sure that's a better explanation than what I'm giving.

It took some time to identify the rule...

400.7. An object that moves from one zone to another becomes a new object with no memory of, or relation to, its previous existence...

The most amazing comment on that site was:"Magic is a game of exceptions. I've learned that when answering rules questions, it's typically best to not bring up cards that except themselves because it only confuses the question and would be self-evident from anyone reading the card."
