But the tokens already have haste... It's the same principle as Exarch Twin lol

use it with any sac engine for infinite sacrifice (altar of dementia anyone?)

with altar of dementia for example, it would be infinite deck peel to opponents

If this would be a combo, then Drophammer would have posted it already in combination with soul warden...

The combos posted utilizing village bell-ringer, sunstrike legionnaire or midnight guard together with elemental mastery or splinter twin (all red) or presence of gond (green) are all 2 card infinite token mechanisms with different win condition depending on the additional card added which either participate on the etb triggers or do something with the tokens produced besides attacking (tapping, sacrifycing).
blasting station, warstorm sourge, vigilante justice, pandemonium, kyren negotiations are all (commander colour red) damage supplies; several altars provide deck mill or mana production, aura shards is pretty cool for infinite artifact or enchantment destruction, white provides several etb life gain cards, cream of the crop is also very nice, death match, mana echoes and carnival of souls are also fun to play.

Oh, a challenge!-D

So I have splinter twin on the midnight guard and Enduring renewal in play. I might use the draw-reveal effect. Ok, I combine this with pandemonium, altar of dementia and tandem lookout. I splinter in a guard token, this triggers the pandemonium first, then the soulbond of the tandem. Resolution: I draw a card due to the soulbonded token. Then I sac it for any reason to get the tandem free for soulbond again. This draw let me look the top card of the lib, I throw away creatures (maybe an Eldrazi!-)) and draw all non-creature cards.

I still do infinite damage even without the renewal add-ons, but this let me search for a card which may help to get rid of an opponnent's shrouded/hexproved platinum angel.

Anyone an idea how to use the second ability (graveyard - return hand) besides these obvious 0 cmc creature stuff combos?

Enduring renewal only returns card that went to the grave from the battlefield and tokens wont get returned so unless you start saccing the tandam or guard there isnt a way to use it.
Though i suppose you can use phyrexian alter as your sack method to get infinate mana, and have living death as one of the cards you kept. Cast death return grave to field (killing angel to boot) sac them all and then renewal returns them to hand with infinate mana cast them.
At that point it might be easier to say screw renewal and just draw your library

i was referring to the renewal simply as another card used in many combos for infinite mana or draw/damage/tap/bounce/peel etc...

Though you are correct gericault5 (also, welcome back, it has been a while since i have seen you post input on anything)come to think of it, i have yet to find any post you have had to date that i felt needed to be corrected(thus, the reason i look forward to comments on my posting from you)
