I'd love good examples of legends you'd want to play this on. The first thing that comes to my mind is Sliver Legion and Celestial Dawn.

Sorry but I don't think this works. "The Legend rule " is that two legends of the same name cannot be on the field at the same time. It does not eliminate "legend" as the creature type.

Also, even if this would work, it's not so much a combo as synergy - as in 'here are two cards doing exactly what they're supposed to do creating a useful effect'.

Except it's neither synergy nor a combo. :/
