This does beg the question of what happens when the creature stops being an artifact. Since the effect is "you control enchanted artifact creature" that implies that when it ceases to be an artifact you would lose control of it even if the enchantment didn't fall off. Which it probably does.

specific ruling on Domineer







12/1/2004 The
enchanted permanent must be both an artifact and a creature. Domineer
can be cast only on an artifact creature. Domineer "falls off" and is
put into the graveyard if the artifact creature it's enchanting stops
being an artifact or stops being a creature.

Um.... it's not useless, I guess.

That said, all you've really done is make Mind control for five mana (three for Domineer, two for Liquimetal Coating), and made it so it only lasts until end of turn.

That's less than ideal. ^^;
