Whatever
creature Splinter Twin is attached to will effectively be able to use
it's 'enters battlefield' each turn, both your on your own, and on that
of your opponent.

For example, attached to a Plaxmanta, your
opponent won't be able to cast spells targeting your creatures for the
rest of the game (or until the combo is dealt with). Craterhoof Behemoth
would grant you +X/+X equal to your total creatures each turn, and
trample (plus hey, a free Behemoth). Attach to the Painter's Servant,
and you can paint all cards whatever color you need for the rest of the
game.
