Lord of Shatterskull Pass
attacking a planeswalker, does it affect the creatures of the person who controls that planeswalker?
what would happen here?... im thinking that the planewalker would take the combat damage, but the creatures wouldnt... am i correct? (only because of wording that it is in question)

Negative. All creatures that the defending player owns would take the damage, even if the target of the attack was that player's Planeswalker.

Plansewalkers are essentially 2nd players under the control of the player. Whatever would effect a player (minus a couple enchantments) will effect the planeswalker. :)
