So, a friend of mine asked me to make a deck to play against them. This friend is playing the best vampires in standard in rakdos colors. So, I built an exalted extort deck. This was the list after about 5 minute:
12 plains
10 swamp
1 orzhov guildgate
2 syndic of tithes
1 soul tithe
1 sublime archangel
1 shimian specter
1 curse of exhaustion
1 one thousand lashes
1 duskmantle prowler
1 executioner's hood
1 tablet of the guids
1 elixir of immortality
2 basilica guards
1 intrepid hero
2 oblivion rings
3 duty-bound dead
3 aven squire
3 servant of nefarox
2 basilica screecher
2 kingpin's pet
2 angelic benediction
3 knight of glory
2 gift of orzhova
2 knight of infamy
This was built out of what I currently have in about 5 minutes. What I would like to add are 2 more sublimes, 2-3 nefarox, overlord of grixis, and a few other things. Any suggestions?

Mikaeus the Lunarch, Ajani, Caller if the Pride, Blind Obedience, Thrull Parasite. To name a few. Ajani for the vast numbers of creatures he can produce. Mikaeus for keeping your creatures alive and giving Ajani a good target. Blind Obedience should be obvious.

What I see is you are taking two different play styles and trying to blend them evenly, which makes it clunky.  Extort is a fun ability but i feel is to slow to go againest vamps, not to mention I assume your friend is playing with nighthawk and blood artist, both of which can negate the extort, it would be better to be able to hit heavier.  So with that said extort should be played down some, in fact the only extort I would play for this deck is thrull parasite and blind obendience.  I would replace the other extort with additional exalted for example guardians of whatever in place of basilica guards

some options to consider are

cathedral of war-additional exalted

radkos cackler- a 1 drop that can swing for 3 turn 2

vampire nighthawk - best arggo in standard

ultimate price, murder - additional removal to get stuff through

high priest of penance - he gets through or up you get to select what goes

elite inquisitor -2/2 first strike and vigilence plus really messes with your bud-nice person to give a gift

thrill-kill assassin -speaking of gifts, becames a nighthawk when she gets hers

As for the cards you want i would keep it at 2 nefarox and 2 sublime if that-sublime comes with a big target for removal which i assume your friend has plenty of and with the high cmc of nerafox you don't want to many clogging your early hands.

Funny part about this deck is i won every round but one, and i lost that one because i got too much land that game. It worked a lot better than you'd imagine for a 5 minute deck idea lol. And it was fun playing with :). Like all suggestions so far though :)

Don't do Mikaeus, the Lunarch because he's super dumb. You don't need any elaboration a or better reason. He's dumb.

I think people should hotlink their cards when asking for deck opinions. :D

For the most part, I'd say keep your CMC down, and concentrate of the exalted angle.

I'd say pitch Soul Tithe for Ultimate Price. Vamps are (with one or two exceptions) mono-red, or mono-black. For the same price as Soul Tithe, you'll actually just gack a creature at instant speed. You might also consider Vindicate. It costs one more mana (and is a gold sorcery to boot), but it's the single most flexible destroy spell out there.

Along the same lines - since you know he's playing tribal, consider an Engineered Plague. It'll neuter his cheap vamps (which is what I'd expect from a Rakdos vamp deck), while making the bigger badder vamps easier to kill. Plus, it's an enchantment, and Rakdos decks are usually too busy smashing through your front door to deal with those. :D

Maybe add the Precinct Captain. He's a two-drop 2/2 with first strike - that makes him a great creature to exalt - plus, if your opponent neglects to block the 'beefy' first strike creature, you get a blocker for your trouble.

I know it's expensive, but consider grabbing some Royal Assassins. At worst, they'll draw out your opponent's kill spells - at best, they'll gack annoying vamps.

I'll also suggest you look at Selesnya/Azorius variations of the exalted decks. Exalted does extend across green and blue - and the synergy with populate/detain is very strong, too, which would help deal with any red/black rush deck.

Tried the populate detain thing before, using flicker abilities to populate in wu. Didn't last. Played with a soldier deck that beat a turn 3 win poison deck, and it couldn't survive. So, went with this as a test to slow him down instead of myself, and I haven't lost with it so far, surprisingly. But if I get more cards, id change it up more.
