Title: Sorin Vs. Tibalt

Anyone buying this thing?

It's selling at a SRP of 19.99 - that's only three dollars more than Sorin, Lord of Innistrad alone. Plus, you get Tibalt, plus, you're going to get whatever shiny-cool cards will be in the decks themselves.

Depends if it is even good. The Venser/Koth was...but Venser's deck REQUIRED Venser.

Yeah... I'm a little leery of how they're going to craft the Tibalt deck, unless they're going to revive Madness cards for him. Tibalt was practically made for the Odyssey block.

If I have any money when this thing comes around I will have to do a full EDH analysis first. Same goes for FTV:20 (which I am pretty excited about).

Madness is a great mechanic. "Discard a card." says player 1. "OK!!!" says player 2 with madness burn. :)

Sorin's Deck contains broken links: Is Tainted Fields == Tainted Field ???
The Bloorage Vampire is probably the Bloodrage Vampire.

Ancient Craving is also a valuable card in the Sorin's Deck!-)
I gonna buy them, too.

Zero Madness for Tibalt is pretty lame. I'm probably going to buy 4 so I can finally get my playset of Hellriders. Plus most of Sorin's deck with be great in my Legacy B/W token deck I just decided to make. :P

Now what I need to figure out is if I should run 2 Vish Kal, Blood Arbiters or 1. Any thoughts? Maybe just ditch him for a few Tesya, Orzhov Scions?

The whole Sorin side could use some Orzhov love. That said, he's coming with a lot of great cards - I think I can forgive a minor thing like a general lack of the latest expansion's best.

-edit-I cannot for the fucking life of me understand why they left out Madness.

The
fact that they chose to do so isn't madness - it's stupid. Tibalt is
the Madness Planeswalker. It's not just the ability best suited to his
function, it's also the ability best suited to his backstory.

Seriously, I think I'm a bit pissed about this. They added a fucking Portal card to Sorin's deck, for god's sake. The least they could do was add the perfect Torment cards to the deck that needs them. :D -/edit-
