So, according to canon, the Tablet is actually a relatively new thing in Ravnica.

So..... Why in the fuck is the Dimir crest on it? :D They haven't been a guild in Ravnica for 'thousands of years' - they're considered a history lesson at best, and a warning sort of fairy tale at worst.

So, why are they on the Tablet of the Guilds? There should be only nine guilds on that fucking thing.

Yes, we've already discussed how you have a vision for how this forum should be maintained, Knarf. The problem is, the way you do things alienates new users. Hell, it's alienating the old users. I still remember when you attacked DyingJester over his sexual interests, as well as positive sexuality, but given your low caste, I'm not terribly surprised by your conservative views.

So, no insight regarding the canon? Dimir on the Tablet, which shouldn't really happen? Flaming Tree Clan emblem for the Gruul, even though they're not really considered part of the group?

Nothing?

I never attacked DyingJester over his sexual interests, I attacked IT for posting rubberwear links in a MTG forum where children have access. IT mixes reality  and wishes when distorting the posts.
IT should never be a moderator of this forum!

Knarf, I don't need to be a moderator. I'd be glad to, if Sync is interested. I'm largely secular in thought, and I feel everyone, including you should have the right to be such a spazzing idiot in front of everyone.

(And I get that you're trying to make me concede that people should be allowed to behave like spazzing  idiots, but that sort of stance misses a more important point - too often, we surrender the right of knowing the people we have to interact with, and knowing if they're actually good people or not. I don't want you to pretend you're some good, respectable person - this is who you really are, and I'm willing to discuss your points irrespective of who you are.)

I don't think the fact that you're spazzing makes this forum better - but seeing how you've specifically stated that you'd rather this place be destroyed than changed in a way that brings more views to this site, keeps more new users, encourages more discussion, I wouldn't mind fighting on behalf of the forum.

So that's a 'no' on the original insight into the flavor of the game we're actually here to talk about, right? :D

First: I said that in http://www.mtgcombos.com/view.php?fid=1&tid=65772&t=me-and-my-bag-of-reeses-minis Date Posted: Wed Feb/06/13 at 8:07am
4) Even shutting down this site deems acceptable, we all have the wide range of other MTG related sites and most of them have an active moderator and/or admin; on these sites 'Academics' do not have the long time opportunity to act there like IT exhibits itself here. By the way, posting "Movie Time" related topics linking to movies in full length will not lower the risk of getting this site shot down.
Therefore i would appreciate if someone acceptable by most of the users would get the moderator' job.
Second; honestly spoken I don't understand the meaning of the text in brackets. Even with urban dictionary. Irony, I'm just missing...Yes, translation loses a little...
Third: I'm not spazzing out,  I just continue to fight against IT's ugly behaviour to ALL users. More views to this site, keeping more new users and encouraging more discussion cannot be done by means of roasting and this stuff with "hardening in the roasting fire".
Fourth: "flavor of the game " 70% of IT's posts are like flavor text: Not neccessary to play but nice to read!-))
Fifth: After establishing a moderator I guess we will not argue any more!-))

Clearly you miss what is said. Completely and utterly. Your arguments and remarks are largely ignored by pretty much everyone. Honestly, you aren't worth the mental exhaustion. Have your parents considered placing you in a home? Preferably one without internet connectivity.

Does that not mean that the "dead" will rise? Maybe that is the guild lined up with Izzet...

Concerning the original post:
Why won't the Dimir be on it?  Szadak was one of the signers of the original guildpact, so they have been around since the beginning, though they were/are the mystery guild.  But as mentioned the tablet is new and they have been know to the public since the breaking of the first pact, no reason for them not to be on it.

In an article I read on Daily MTG (which I can't find) it said Dimir has a public level of the guild to keep suspicion down. That has to mean that the guild is known about but it did say that very few know anything more than what's on the surface. There are less than 5 people that know who the guild master is at the lowest level of the guild.

Borborygmos pretty much rules Gruul (sure there are the Scab, and Ghor clans but Burning Tree seems to have the most members) so I'm assuming he's the only noteworthy leader that the creators of the tablet knew about.

I mean they're scratched off of the Pillar, but everybody knows they're there. People just want to seem them represented?

Okay, yeah, the pillars make some sense, because those are supposed to be about as old as the Guildpact itself. The Dimir were still a guild back then.

But it still makes no sense that the Gruul are represented on either the Pillars, or the Tablet, period. They were never really part of the Guildpact. It makes even less sense that the Gruul have been represented by the Burning Tree clan for ten thousand years, considering clan dominance seems to change every generation or so.

The Tablet is a recent creation - the Dimir are (as far as canon goes) not a Guild anymore. At the very least, they shouldn't be on the Tablet. As for as the Gruul, again, these guys aren't part of the Guildpact, and in fact they may be the most open and honest enemies of it. And claiming them as members would probably just piss the collective Gruul clans off.
