Otherwise, I'm dredging up twenty year old combos that aren't in the database...I suppose those could in fact be stale. Oubliette is a highly annoying card, especially when cast against black and/or red decks.

You're referring about Knarf when you're referring to 'phony', Tape? No need for the quotes. Knarf was acting pretentiously, and pretending he was in a position to hold himself over new users.

The petty little spaz he's acting like now? That's the real him. :D

See, what he's doing here is both overt dehumanization - it's also sexist as hell - I.e. you are a male, since you are being called a woman, you must be insulted by the implication.

I'm posting from class right now, but just wait for after class - I've got a post that actually explains all of Knarf's behaviours directly. I'll just need a bit of time to type it out. Short story - Knarf is in fact mentally unstable. If I'm right, he can't understand that he's doing anything wrong right now. :D

Kefka, I like that you're learning when you're being offensive (mostly), and I really appreciate that you're trying to be self-conscious of acting in an offensive manner.

The funny part is that there's nothing inherantly sexist about saying someone should swallow cum - dudes do it too. :D

Careful with the lesbian bit - you're right that some women do turn to lesbianism because of having to deal with utter manchildren on a regular basis, but most just do it because they just like banging girls better. :)

But you actually didn't say anything sexist, per se. Awfully close, but not quite.

I like that you're learning. :D

I know I've said I'd explain Knarf's neurological issues after class - fact is I kind of got splashed with a pile of unexpected homework, a peer review session, and now I've got a practical exam I need to cram for, so I'm just going to have to give a jot notes version of things, as suggested by a psych student I've shared Knarf's behavior with.

Knarf is showing enough symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome that potentially he could be properly diagnosed as such.

*The lack of a want to encourage friendship and camaraderie among social circles.
*A lack of social reciprocity, and a habit of emotionally 'taking' without 'giving', unless there's an overt social gain in giving.
*A failure to act appropriately in social situations, or overreacting
*Adverse attitudes towards any social change, and a need to impose an order on immediate social groups
*An utter fixation on a craft, hobby, or interest (say.... Magic? /:D)
*Poor communication skills, derived from difficulties understanding the tones or intonation of a statement.
**As such, Asperger's sufferers typically have difficulty parsing out figurative language (basically, they tend to take everything literally).
*A habit of using overcomplex, if correct words when more common words would do.
*An oversensitive fight-or-flight instinct
*Poor motor skills - like a piss-poor ability to type. :D

It's all classic Asperger syndrome. Now, that doesn't excuse him acting like an asshole (there are lots of non-asshole Asperger sufferers), but it does explain why he's completely clueless as to how he's behaving.
