Aura Swap. Arcanum Wings was the only card to have it, and many more should.

I like cards that provide additional bang for their buck, so I'm a big fan of buyback, flashback, persist, unearth, cascade, rebound and undying.

However if I had to pick a favourite mechanic based on playability, I'd probably go with landfall.

Aside from Phyrexian mana, I must say that I would like to see how a set with Aura Swap would have played out. I also think that most people do not understand the power of intimidate. Now that we are out of Mirrodin, I think that Executioner's Hood might have a second life.

Morph/ninjitsu/flash - all suprise your opponent though i do enjoy madness as well.

And on the aura swap subject, anyone else besides me feel they decided to say screw the future shifted cards we did, other then the 4 released in lorwyn/shadowmoor its like they forgot about them, despite great opportunities to use them. Foritfy would have perfectly fit into zendikar, gravestormfits in with the return from death idea and delve would use the grave as a resource meaning both would have worked in innstrand, hell delve would have been awsome as the new golgri ability, first dredge then exile those cards for a beast life from death. And there was a myr, yes it was the first artifact with a colored casting cost hinting at alara but it was a myr that was half metal half flesh isnt that what phyrsis is not to mention its from mirroden. Ok im done

Sarcomite? Myr is also freaking amazing, dude above me. It is a really good card, just like Bonded Fetch, from FS. I wish they would've done more as well. Maybe Azorious will get Aura Swap?

This is probably gonna sound odd..but did anyone else miss persist (yes I'm  aware undying cards are better), but persist just had a way better flavor to it overall.

@gericault: I feel the same way. Add the planechase cards into that rant, too.

@Jester: Gotta admit, I only miss persist when undying is also in the picture.

@anyone who reads this: I will be so happy when/if provoke comes back, especially with all the recent "two creatures fight" cards.

MOst favorite : Decking (put top X card from libraries to the graveyard)

2nd goes : Hexproof, Indestructible or Regen :)

As in Test of Endurance, Barren Glory (The Cheese Stands Alone!), Epic Struggle, Darksteel Reactor, Felidar Sovereign, Laboratory Maniac, Mayael's Aria, Mortal Combat.

A near second is "You can't lose the game", as in my favorite, the Platinum Angel.

I agree with the comments on Aura Swap......it wasn't given a proper chance.

As far as my favorite mechanics, I have to go with Forecast and Entwine.
