Okay, so I caved in and bought a pre-fab Commander deck - Heavenly Inferno. Love the deck, love the cards (mostly). I'm thinking about splitting it into two different EDH decks.

Basically, I'm asking for what you guys would do to turn Heavenly Inferno into a mono-angel deck, or a mono-demon deck. All insight appreciated. ^^;

Some of the weaker cards, IMO:
- Lightkeeper of Emeria
- Orzhov Guildmage
- Razorjaw Oni

If you're building around tribes, then I'd recommend Adaptive Automaton as a lord. Ghostly Prison is another card that is always good in white decks. I also like Chainer's Edict, to get around Greaves/Boots and other protection. I'd also consider some card draw spells, like Bloodgift Demon, Phyrexian Arena, Dreamstone Hedron or Ambition's Cost. Maybe a Thran Dynamo so that you have the mana to cast those fatties that Kaalia doesn't get into play.

The question I would ask is if you would take it mono tribal would u still use kaalia as the general?

She is a fun card but would an angel deck benefit enough from the red inclusion. Would a mono demon benefit enough from the white.
Kaalia comes in with a huge x on her chest and if your meta packs as much removal as mine she won't be attacking that often. Meaning I will need to hardcast my creatures more then cheat them into play. Many of the better demons and angels require multiples of single colors. Do you feel that the few times you would beable to use kaalia would make the increase amount of mana fixing options viable?
Frankly if I was going tribal I would take the white cards add green and go with asmira holy avenger. Ramping into iona and such. This leaves the red black for demons I would replace the white with more removal and reanimate aspects
