Which card do you feel has the most potential and which would you use overall.  I would like plenty of reasoning behind your decision please. Also feel free to debate with every one else, and please don't Harshly bash someone for His/Her choice of card.

To be honest, I don't like any of them. ^^; I hate all three cards. I'd rather work with a COP, ROP, or some other variation of the theme (Story Circle?). Something permanent.

That's not what you've asked, though.

If I had to make a deck and include one of these three, I'd rather have Stave Off, followed by the Apostle's Blessing, followed by shelter.

Stave off is cheap. A one drop card is great. Given that it looks like the common theme of the cards is 'give creature protection from color X', Stave Off wins in that it does it's job cheaply, and to the point. Of the three, this would go in my deck.

Apostle's Blessing is a useful card, and the fact that it can provide protection from artifacts is great. That being said, the cheapest it gets is one mana, and two life. For one mana, no life, I can give my creature the same 'protection from color X'. Of the three, this would be sideboard.

Stave Off is the cheapest, easiest option, and the Blessing is the most flexible. Shelter (and it's delicious card draw) isn't awful, but I know which I'd choose.

It depends on the deck. Normally I would like Apostle's Blessing, since there is no coloured mana requirement, and I can protect against artifacts. Shelter is pretty good, but only in certain decks. In weenie decks, you will rarely have 2 mana untapped, so it's no good. In a GW or WU deck though, odds are you have untapped lands, and it's a lot better, since it replaces itself.

Apostle's Blessing, hands down. My decks with colour protection have been screwed too many times by artifacts to say otherwise.

Jester, you think shelter has bad art?! Id say its by far the best of hte three!

Cardwise, apostle's blessing is just so much better! You can cast it on artifacts, it gives protection from artifacts, and its phyrexian mana! Not even close!

Apostle's Blessing. Cheap, flexible, and multi-use.

I think that Stave off is the best of the three simply because you can also cast it on an opponents creatures.

Pinkie in my defense I have a huge bias when comparing phyrexian stuff to normal stuff. I still think Vorinclex is better than primeval titan for buck's sake.
