First, play the wolf and enchant it with Splinter Twin.

During your Opponent's end of turn step, tap the Wolf to get a token copy of it. It will hang around until the end of your own turn.

During your own turn, enchant the token wolf with Breath of Fury and swing with it. Have it deal damage to the defending player instead of any blockers.

In response to the Trigger on Breath of Fury, tap your original Lone Wolf to create a second token. When the triggered ability resolves, move the Breath to the new token. The first token dies and Lone Wolf untaps.

Repeat this process with your new, hasty token.

(Yes I realise this would work better with an unblockable creature like Phantom Warrior, but I liked the combo name too much...)

Doesn't work. The untap and reattach or
the breath are at the same time. You have nothing to attach it to.
The stack has your token die, and the reattach simultaneous. For this
to work you could add in a thornbite staff. I think thornbite staff
would work, because the payment of sacing the token would trigger the
staff. The untap of the staff is now on the top of the stack, so you
can let that resolve, untaping the wolf. In response to you wolf
becoming untaped you can tap it to make a token. I don't think you
can let the breath resolve, because you sac as payment, and the untap
and reattach to a new creature is simultaneous. Just check on that.

No, this works.

I know the sac and re-attach happens at the same time as untapping your creatures. This is why you make the new token BEFORE this resolves, allowing you to attach the aura to the new token. You then untap your guys, etc.

Also note, sacrificing the creature enchanted with Breath is not a cost. It is sacrificed during the resolution of Breath's triggered ability.

Hell, if you're that worried about stack tricks just make the new token before you attack anyway, it'll be around well in advance of the trigger then.

Hmmmm, I don't know... Maybe you need to untap the wolf to produce another copy so that there is a "LEGAL TARGET" when it gets sacrificed.... Just my opinion though...

as Zark said you can make the token before combat

however it does work the way he described because breath is a trigger ability, when combat damage occurs, the breaths trigger goes on the stack, in response you tap the wolf for the token, token comes into play and then the breath resolves, and since the token is already in play at this point an a legal target for breath

The wolf is already untapped because the token came into play at the end of your opponents turn so does not get saced until your end of turn

Nice combo by the way
