"Deystroy" the bowman and regenerate it I couldn\'t find any rulings on fire bowman so I think this is still legal though not exactly the spirit of the law

depends how you play.  in the early days words were used interchangeably, bury for instance meant destory target creature it can't be regerated when talking about an opponets creature and sacrifice when talking about yours.  in this case destroy, since it is talking to you as the controller, means sacrifice the bowman
