this is the second thing ive seen of making planeswalker copies... but i still like this :)

ever heard of the combo march of the machines + mycosynth lattice + experiment kraj + any planeswalker?
it makes it so that all permanents are artifacts in addition to the other things they are,
then it makes it so that all artifacts are artifact creatures also: this makes it so that your planeswalker is also an artifact, THEN makes it an artifact creature,
then put a +1/+1 counter on it with experiment kraj,
then you can do any ability of that planeswalker INFINITE times with experiment kraj (he wont get restricted by doing 1 ability per turn like planeswalkers do!)

bad news Planeswalker abilities were changed from activated abilities to planeswalker abilities during M10 so this does not work

ohhhh... :/

haha, and i just read, they changed the rules so that planeswalkers activated abilities are instead called "planeswalker abilities" now, so experiment kraj cant steal the ability :(

EDIT:
"the rules about playing planeswalkers' abilities only once per turn now apply to loyalty abilities."

I forgot about quicksilver elemental... I must say his abilities is similar to Experiment Kraj which will make Experiment Kraj's combos effective on Quicksilver elemental too..

Nothing that any of you said have any relevance on this combo. Read the cards. Quicksilver Elemental steals activated abilities of CREATURES. You can call them activated abilities, planeswalker abilties, or anything else you want. QE never could steal them because planeswalkers are not creatures. The same is true for EK.

you use gideons ultimate which turns him into a creature allowing you to steal his abilitys, though the 1 rule still applies

Add Mirrorweave. Cast it on your Quicksilver Elemental to turn all creatures into Quicksilver Elementals.

THEN animate Gideon with his ultimate. Use your remaining blue mana to have all your Elementals gain his abilities.

On each of your Elementals, activate their copy of Gideon's Ultimate ability.

You now have an army of 6/6 undamageable guys versus your opponent's army of 3/4s.

Remember, Loyalty Abilities can only be played when you could play a Sorcery, so your opponent cannot play Gideon's loyalty abilities, even if they do have blue mana for their elementals.

(and yes, I got this off the Wizards site recently)

Didn't they change the rules recently so that only Planeswalkers can activate their abilities?
