I can't wait to use this one myself...

should be self explanatory. cast devoted druid follwed by presence of gond.

immaculate magistrate to follow suit. as long as you keep tapping the druid to make elves, untap by placing a -1/-1 counter to cancel out a +1/+1 counter, then follow up with the magistrate to pump him up even more to repeat process. elvish promenade would help fatten this up. use something with devour to compound the situation.
include other cards like: freed from the real (to keep untapping the magistrate), bramblewood paragon to make them meaty, soul or essence wardens too for life gaining, or even x casting cost direct damage spells if you wanna suck out the mana through the druid. you could even kick this off sooner with some llanowar elves or wild growth. with the right cards or combination of them, I'd give an opponent maybe 4 or 5 turns.

this isn't an infinite combo but I'm sure of at least one way to make it so.

The suggestion that I have isnt type two but if you dont care about that than here is an actual infinite effect for it. Try using Conclave Blessing on the druid and therefore it will negate the -1/-1 counters and give you as many elves as your heart desires.
