This combo is ridiculously amazing! Its a great way to say "f*ck you. your a loser." Throw in a glorious anthem and a tremor to take out all of there lands or keep it two colors and throw in a palace gaurd and an indestructibility to block all of there 1/1 lands.

yes invert and earthquate would kill edrazi as long as you pay enough mana for them.  also instead of honor guard  and indestructible go with caltrops t lock them down

Hmmmm, I think Palace Guard + Venom + Indestructibility will lock them down...

Also, i think Wizards will make a ruling that creature's mana abilities can't be affected... Just this two will be enough to lock down your opponent... The only source of mana your opponent have is from non-creature permanents... the only abilities your opponent can play is from non-creature permanents... And we all know that there are only a few artifacts with abilities especially mana abilities...

6/15/2010 Linvala's ability affects only creatures on the battlefield. Activated abilities that work in other zones (such as cycling or unearth) can still be activated.
6/15/2010 No abilities of creatures your opponents control can be activated, including mana abilities.
6/15/2010 Triggered abilities and static abilities of creatures your opponents control work normally.

Hence, it works and it is beautiful. Good job with this one!
