With Mortal Combat on the field, use entomb to put Iname into your graveyard. Then bring it back to your hand with raise dead, disentomb, etc.

Then play Iname to get rid of all the spirits in your deck. If you have a lot you should be able to satisfy Mortal Combat next turn.

This card makes no sense. When it comes into play, it gets 2 counters. Then it resolves and goes to the graveyard. Could you destroy it after it has been played? It is so confusing!!

It's just like a time counter on a Time shifted cards like Ancestral Visions... I even suspect that the concept of time counters comes from that card...
