Title: Can Leveler be useful?

Every now and then, I look around for an effective way to get leveler out without having to prevent myself from losing the game. Early amateur ideas included giving it haste, and using something like misdirection (which I now see doesn't work).

Does anyone know a sneaky way to get it out without losing afterwards?
