Play fierce empath to bring the myojin into your hand. Then play the piper to put the myojin, and subsequently, the rest of the creatures into your hand into play.

You didn't play the Myojin from your hand, so it does not get the divinity counter.

It is still an 8/8, and you can play that which was taken, and use its ability to put divinity counters on the moyojin. It also lets you use there ability repeatedly.

You could just use the empath to bring out your biggest creature. The new Eldrazis are monsters!
I used this in a deck with that which was taken to restore the counter, and a whole bunch of huge creatures with trample, namely Darksteel Colossus.
Half the deck was dedicated to producing as many forests as possible, so I'd have 8 mana on around turn 4-5 anyway. Other cards that go along well are Chord of Calling and Worldly Tutor.

How is it not played from your hand? explain. you use the one card to fish it from your library to your hand then use piper to play it from your hand. Am I missing something or is that not playing it form your hand?

Myojin gets a diviity counter when you cast it, that is you say what your playing, pay the mana costs, put it on the stack, let it resolve at which time it comes into play with a divinty counter

Elvish piper, braids conjurer adept, tooth and nail, and others-cause you to put a creature into play as a result of the resolution of their ability-teven though it comes from the hand, his is not casting as you do not use any ot the casting steps and the creature put into play this way does not even go on the stack.

This is why the 2010 rules changed many cards to say "Cast" from your hand.

The piper puts it into play, but you are not playing/casting it.
That is why you either need to restore the divinity counter, or just pull out a larger creature.

Incorrect.

The piper says 'put into play' (or to quote the current card text as of M10 'put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield') which is entirely different from playing the card.

The Myojin's current oracle text is 'Myojin of Life's Web enters the battlefield with a divinity counter on it if you cast it from your hand.'

If you are putting it into play with the piper, you are NOT casting it, so no divinity counter.

Same goes for the Mythic Eldrazi, they all have a trigger for when you cast the spell, so tricking them into play won't give you the effect.
