Ok, as of this post the Conflux card PROGENITUS was NOT yet in our database. Nonetheless, this is a VERY IMPRESSIVE card. It is WWUUBBRRGG. But it can be brought into play ALOT easier with either Elvish Piper or Dramatic Entrance. I know first hand; because the other night someone beat me on mtgo with this bad boy!!
Do any of you own the card PROGENITUS yet? It is arguably one of THE most powerful crits I have ever seen in all of mtgo!!! It has "Protection from Everything". That means neither Damnation nor Boomerang will get it off the table!!

Any thoughts on this card and/or combo?

you can wrath or use damnation on progenitus, the mtg rules states "A permanent or player with protection can't be targeted by spells with the stated quality and can't be targeted by abilities from a source with the stated quality.", and since wrath or damnation isnt specifically targeting that, it will still destroy it

everyone knows how you can cast progenitus like that even us(with my friends)knows it

Another couple ways to get him into play is with Attacking with Maelstrom Archangel or killing a creature you control with Deathrender equiped. If the creature Deathrender equips dies, you put Progenitus into play and attach Deathrender to it (which instantly falls off because Progenitus has Protection from everything (including artifacts)).

To my knowledge, there are very few cards that you can use to get rid or Progenitus in Standard right now. Wrath of God, Cruel Edict, Fleshbag Marauder, Gravepact, Evacuation, Kederekt Leviathan, Worldpurge, Cruel Ultimatum, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker's final ability, Child of Alara, Wild Swing (non-targeting, just choose, still need luck, though), and Din of the Fireherd are all I know of (Sorry Green, didn't seen any non-targeting destroy/removal). Even deathtouch won't work because he has protection from every source of damage so it's prevented.

Jester - Yeah, I know, this is NOT the most ingenious & innovative combo. But still, being able to play that humongous monster with only 5 Green mana instead of the 10 mana is noteworthy! :-)

yup thats good anyway...try putting a summoner's pact on it...so the time u dont have the baby hydra...just call him up using the pact then use dramatic to put him down nxt upkeep its ok 2 pay for the cost for ur assure that his already deal 10dmage
