With all three in play, any time you tap for mana, you will be dealt 1 damage. Then, because you were dealt damage, Darien spawns 1 white soldier token. Then Soul Warden Gives you your 1 life back because a creature entered the battle field.

With a plus, Mana Barbs burns your opponent if they tap for mana.

Sorry for not responding sooner...

But as shakii23 said, and as I said in the second part of the description, when your opponent taps for mana, it will burn them 1 time each for it, which can A) Help you kill them faster or B) Lock them down when they're running out of life.
