Ok, so will this work?

Can terror and burn type spells target a creature whit protection? Or will can u target other creatures then Standard Bearer?

...except it doesn't work.

The Flagbearer Text says 'if it could target a Flagbearer'

Since your opponent cannot target the Flagbearer they are free to target any other creature you control.

Works pretty well

Remember protection means the creature can not be: enchanted, targeted, blocked, or damaged

It's better than what you've got

I don't get it... Does it mean that with two flagbearer in play and one has shroud and the other has none, then the other without shroud becomes targeted and you are going to change the target to the flagbearer with shroud?
Am I right? That won't work because it is not a legal target because it has shroud... The same as protection... can't be the target of spell or ability with the color it has protection from...

Flagbearer abilitys work by forcing your opponent to choose the flagbearer as the target for any spell or ability that can target a creature, which is done before the casting. so...

if you have two flag bearers in play 1 has shroud the other protection from red, then the opponent can not play lighting bolt because they do not have a legal target

If you have a flagbearer with pro red and a honor guard, since the flag bearer can not be a legal target for lighting bolt, its ability has no effect and your opponent can target honor guard

if you have a prored flagbearer and your opponent has a grizzly bear.  If you opponent trys to cast giant growth he needs to choose the flagbearer as the target for giant growth, he does not have the choice to target his bears as there is nothing preventing flagbearer from being a legal target

Does that clear it up??

Yes. thanx. i have to give it  protection afther the spell or ability is on stack, hm triky maybe Mother of Runes or somthing.
