Chimeric Mass is a stand in for Walking Ballista (AER, Rare).



For this infinite loop, any sacrifice outlet will work here. Viscera Seer can be swapped out for any creature based sacrifice outlet.







First, play all three.


Next, sacrifice Ballista to your sacrifice outlet of choice.



Undying trigger happens, and Ballista returns with a +1/+1 counter. Then finally, remove the counter to ping something.





Rinse and repeat for infinite damage and/or infinite looped effects based on the sacrifice outlet of your choice.





If you choose to go the infinite looped effect route, have the damage effect target Ballista, then in response, sacrifice Ballista to the outlet to repeat the process.



Special Note:





Walking Ballista must enter the battlefield last or at the same time as Mikaeus the Unhallowed in order for this to work.

You missed a step. You need to spend all the +1/+1 counters on the ballista before sacrificing it otherwise Undying won't trigger.

Ugh editing doesn't work, I meant to clarify that if the ballista has any counters (e.g. cast on a prior turn) you'd need to spend them first.
