This 3 card interaction serves as an engine for infinite etb/ltb interactions for any non-human creature.

Sac once to Altar, undying triggers.

With Nim trigger on stack, sac again to Altar, then reanimate with Nim.

Infinite etb/ltb loop.

Take car about the timing. The first trigger of Nim does nothing due to card errata:
1/1/2011: If the nontoken creature that caused Nim Deathmantle's second ability to trigger is somehow removed from your graveyard before that ability resolves, you may still pay {4} as it resolves. Even if you do, however, no card will be returned to the battlefield.

But the trigger of Nim's second sacrifice will do what you want.
