Kind of obvious. As long as you have even one experience counter, this will go through the roof.

Add Copy Enchantment, copying Inexorable Tide, to speed up the process.

Any X spell, when the CMC is X + 1, will trigger Mizzix's first ability, since the second ability reduces the cost of all instants/sorceries.

I don't think this works as you think. I am not a rules advisor so maybe other readers can lend some assistance too. I believe the converted mana cost will always remain the same on a spell with "x" in it. the CMC is equal to the colored mana symbols only on an x spell.

202.3b When calculating the converted mana cost of an object with an {X} in its mana cost, X is treated as 0 while the object is not on the stack, and X is treated as the number chosen for it while the object is on the stack.
