Leonin Scimitar is a stand in for Blade of Selves from Commander 2015, which grants the equipped creature "Myriad" (if attacking, then a creature token is made to attack all other opponents).
Equip the blade to Lord of Secrets and swing, the resulting copies are sent straight to the graveyard, thanks to the legend rule, setting off Extractor Demon, getting you that much closer to milling your opponent for the win.

Also nice with non-legendary creatures. Man-o'-War for example or others...
