Okay, so play the Favored Hoplite, put Pariah on it, and then the turn that you're gonna Arcbond, make sure to activate Favored's Heroic, because that's what makes all the difference. Say Favored Hoplite takes 1 damage and you Arcbond as he has Pariah: Well, he'll take 1 damage and do 1 damage to every creature and player, but then there will be 1 damage going to you, and Pariah redirects it to the Hoplite, dealing 1 damage to it and everything 'cept you... and that's infinite.

Doesn't works. Damage is prevented. Works with indestructible creatures.
