Running a UB deck with a high casting cost? Well, how about not paying for creatures! With Call of the Kindred and Conspiracy, all of your creatures are the same type, so you'll never have to worry about lucking out on Kindred. Running a nonblack deck? Just use a Changeling! It's all creature types, so you'll still get any creature you want from Kindred.
