According to Webster
A combo is the act of combining two or more things
synergy is an increase effectiveness when two or more elements work together
For this since it fits the combo definition it must be a combo and since the end result is a 5/5 with haste first strike, &reach, it is greater than what went into it therefore it fits the definition for synergy.
So its both. Combo and Synergy.
