Target ink treader with dreams grip and it will copy to every creature it can target and because you control the copies you choose for each copy. So tap all of your opponents creatures and untap all of yours

When a card says 'choose one' you make that choice at casting, along with any extra costs like kicker.

All those choices and paid costs are retained when a spell is copied.

With this setup, you can either tap all creatures, or untap all creatures, not pick and choose for each one.

Check the comprehensive rules 601.2a and 601.2b. In this case when the copies hit the stack the controller of the spells chooses the mode of each spell.

This is how i understand the rules and even though i am not a judge in any way, i would like to think that I have a rather firm grasp of the rules.

From the rule book, 706: Copying Objects
"706.2. When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object's characteristics and, for an object on the stack, choices made when casting or activating it (mode, targets, the value of X, whether it was kicked, how it will affect multiple targets, and so on). The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, color indicator, card type, subtype, supertype, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by "as . . . enters the battlefield" and "as . . . is turned face up" abilities that set characteristics, and by abilities that caused the object to be face down. Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied."

706.10 says the same thing only a little more clearly. You were right, and i thank you for the knowledge you have imparted to me.
