make 1 sliver with queen, tap for 1 mana (any color) then sacrifice it for 2 black, rinse repeat until you have enough mana to make the desired sliver count you want

Replace the Basal Sliver with Doubling Season or either of its little brothers, and you get to keep your infinite slivers without sacrificing a few dozen of them first.
