Triskelion is best with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and
Curiosity is best with Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind

I always thought Triskelion was best with Mephidross Vampire. What with immediately replacing its lost counters, and all.

I agree with you all, but this is just another way outside of black or red. It's not great, but this will still get the job done.

Mephidross Vampire and Triskelion is a machine gun limited to creature killing. It requires a stuffy doll to hit one Opponent. It is hard to break the Loop since you can let the single damage resolve and replace a +1/+1 Counter on the triskelion and answer to an instant kill of one of your creatures with another Loop of damage.

The Mikaeus lets you shoot at any target with unlimited amount of damage. It is a little bit easier to stop since when removing the last Counter to shoot on your triskelion one can respond by killing the Mikaeus or exiling the triskelion.

I still prefer the Mikaeus cause of the Player killing ability.
