Second Wind itself taps for those abilities, not the creature. Otherwise it would say "enchanted creature gains "etc.""

The inspired ability doesn't check how the creature becomes untapped, it just checks that it does. And since the enchantment states "untap enchanted creature" while on the creature, it follows the same guidelines in this case. Or at least that's how I read it

I wasn't talking about the inspired part of King Macar. I was talking about where the ability was. In this instance, that enchantment is no better than any other that lets you tap or untap the creature its on.

If you tap the enchantment to tap Macar, you can't untap him with it as well, since it requires tapping to activate it, and vice versa.

terakhan is right. for this to work, you need something to tap macar first then use the second wind to untap him. and because the aura is being tapped and not the creature, it is not infinite either.

Enchant the king with Elemental Mastery and Freed from the Real.
Tap the king to produce 2 elemental tokens. When untaping, remove 1 elemental token for the Gold token, tap king again for 2 additional elemental tokens, untap for Gold token mana... nets you 1 elemental token per tap/untap; this is infinite.
